A new species for Belgium in autumn 2020 in WV. Second observation in 2022 in WV.

2) 1 ex. on 26.x.2020 at Oostende (WV), leg. N. Brackx.
3) 1 ex. on 29.x.2022 at Zeebrugge (WV), leg. A. Beidts et al.
4) 1 ex on 30.x.2022 at Blankenberge/Zeebrugge (WV), leg. A. Beidts et al.
Wingspan: 34–44 mm.
This species can confused with Mythimna ferrago and Mythimna unipuncta, but can be told apart by the pure white hindwings.
The adults come to light and on sugar. They are regularly observed on blooming ivy.
Abroad, the species is on the wing from April till November in several generations a year.
In our country it is an autumn migrant from October till November.
The larva feeds on different Poaceae like Dactylis, Paspalum, Triticum , Oryza sativa or Zea mays.
