A new species for Belgium in 2020 in NA.
Native
The males are fairly well attracted to a variety of different pheromone compositions originally developed for Cydia nigricana and Phyllonorycter blancardella, the last one seems to be more effective.
The adults fly in two generations a year during April/May and July/August.
This species feeds on different plants belonging to the Rosaceae, but more observed on Malus sp. and on Pyrus sp.
