A very rare species in the south of Belgium, hitherto not often recorded.

Wingspan 21–24 mm.
Head and prothoracic plate shiny black; thoracic legs black; abdomen greenish black to black, with incomplete whitish lines; anal plate orange-brown, edged with black and white; pinacula large, black, edged white (Gregersen & Karsholt 2022).
The larva lives inside folded leaves on the host plant.
The adults are active during morning hours and later come to light.
The adults fly from May towards September in two generations a year.
The larva feeds on Fabaceae like Trifolium pratense, Medicago sativa. Also found on Fragaria vesca and Scabiosa.
It occurs on dry meadows on limestone, rough ground etc...
