New for Belgium in 1986 at Chantemelle (LX) and hitherto known only from that observation.

Wingspan c. 10 mm.
This species has ochreous till brown forewings with lighter longitudinal stripes.
The antennae are alternately ringed blackish ochreous till the tip.
A straw-coloured case with a mouth angle of 45–60°.
The case resembles that of Coleophora trochilella.
