A very rare species in Belgium, hitherto only known from te southern part of the country. Some forms can be confused with Acleris kochiella.

Wingspan 18–22 mm. Distinctive species but very variable with many different forms described, but all have a combination of pale green ground colour with whitish and blackish markings.

Bionomics

The larva pupates between spun leaves. The adults hibernate.
The moths come to light.
