A new species for Belgium in 2016 in NA. Hitherto only known from that observation.

Wingspan: 22–23 mm. It resembles Idaea degeneraria, but it can be identified by its more robust appearance, the sharpness of the drawings, the light background, the presence of a colored central zone on the front, the well-marked discoidal points.
The Belgian specimen was seen mid-August.
The young larve feeds with petals of various plants, then dry leaves of Convolvulus, Rubus, etc…
