This species is considered Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.
Native
Hibernates as pupa among plant debris.
The adults come to light.
The adults fly in two generations a year from the end of April till mid-July, and from the end of August till well into October.
The larva lives in the flowers and the seed pods of Linaria vulgaris or Antirrhinum.
