First observation for Belgium in 2017 in LI. A very rare and local species.

Wingspan 9–12 mm.
Larva undescribed.
Bionomics is not sufficiently known.
The adults become active in late afternoon and evening and come later to light.
The adults have been seen from late April towards early September in two generations a year.
The larvae live probably on Hypericum pulchrum, the species has usually been taken near this plant.
It inhabits in suitable localities where the food plant occurs.
