Imago

Wingspan 14–16 mm. Characterised by its generally mid-brown or grey coloured non-descript appearance and a moderately developed longitudinal black streak crossing the median fascia, divided into two or three marks.

Bionomics

The larva lives between spun or folded leaves. They pupate in the larval habitation.
The adults come to light.

Flight periods

The adults are on the wing from late May towards late August. Most observations during June.

Host plant (genera):
Prunus

The larva lives mainly on Prunus padus and less on Prunus avium, Prunus cerasus, Prunus spinosa and Malus sylvestris. Perhaps also on Crataegus.
