Bionomics

The larvae live in a web on the upper surface of the leaves of Urtica and Parietaria. They usually fold the leaf upwards.
Pupation in a thick silken cocoon in or near that web.
The moths are active during the day.


Flight periods

The adults fly in two generation per year from early May till the beginning of July, and from mid-August till early October. The autumn generation is less abundant.
