Wingspan 13–16 mm. Ground colour cinnamon, reticulate darker brown, costal blotch usually outline blackish-plumbeous, black scale tufts on cross-lines, most prominent at dorsal end of subbasal line, cilia whitish on termen, grey at apex and tornus.
