This very rare species has not been seen in Belgium for a long time and is thought to be extinct.

Wingspan 15–17 mm.
The adults have been seen from May till July with a peak during June.
The larva lives on different species of Fabaceae like Trifolium sp., Trifolium pratense and Lotus corniculatus.
It prefers open places like rough ground, wasteland, grassland, herb-rich roadsides etc...
