A very rare and local species that is occasionally seen in LX. A good healthy population was discovered in 2023 in the great area around Meix-devant-Virton in the Gaume.

Imago

Wingspan 24–26 mm.
Forewings are crossed by two brown parallel lines and, usually, three black dots on the antemarginal line.

Bionomics

Overwinters in the egg stage. The adults are easily disturbed during daytime. The adults come very early to light after dark.
