Bionomics

Larvae in a web on the leaves. Hibernation as larva in a cocoon in the soil.
The adults come to light.

Flight periods

The adults have been seen from early May towards early October with a peak during July/August.

Artemisia vulgaris and Artemisia campestris
Substrates:
Cultivated crops, Grasses and Herbaceous plants

The larva feeds on the leaves on different species of herbs, crops and grasses like Artemisia, Atriplex, Beta vulgaris, Brassica, Chenopodium, Daucus, Helianthus, Malus domestica, Nicotiana, Solanum, Trifolium etc...
