A very rare and local species in Belgium, not so often recorded.
This species is considered Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.
Native
It hibernates as a larva and pupates in loose soil.
The adults become active from dusk and later come to light.
The adults can be seen from mid-May till August in one generation a year.
The larva lives mainly on Hedera or Polygonum.
