A very rare but widespread species in Belgium, mainly observed in the northern part.
This species is considered Near Threatened according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.
Native
Wingspan 12–19 mm.
The adults come to light.
The adults fly in one or two generations a year June/July, and September.
The larva lives on dried vegetable matter like fallen leaves.
