This species is considered Critically Endangered according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.

Bionomics

Hibernates as a pupa in a flimsy cocoon on or below the ground. The adults are active during the day in sunshine and visiting flowers of Calluna and Erica and later come to light.

Flight periods

The adults have been recorded from late May till mid-August in two generations a year.
