Distribution


Imago

Wingspan about 18–21 mm. A creamy light brown wing with some dark dots spread over the forewing, which can sometimes form lines.

Bionomics

The larvae live among spun leaves.

The adults can be seen from May to September.


Observed on

It is mentioned in literature that the oligophagous larvae feed on Amaranthaceae like Chenopodium, Atriplex, Amaranthus, and Beta vulgaris, but it is probably more polyphagous than previously thought.
