Status

Exotic

An East Asian species from Japan and Taiwan. It was first seen in Europe in Italy in 2018.
It is very likely that the species came to Europe as eggs or young caterpillars and were distributed via the plant trade.

1) 1 ♂ on 11.viii.2024 at Itterbeek (VB), leg. L. Kestemont et al., & gen. det. S. Wullaert.
2) 1 ex. on 01.v.2025 at Zemst (VB), leg. E. Lauwers et al.
