Larvae can be found from September to May. Yellowish abdomen with a brown head.

Bionomics

The larva mines in the epidermis of thinner stems, shoots, and spines on the host plant. It prefers less vigorous bushes with thinner stems. Pupation in the mines. When the mines are getting older, a purplish bruising appears.
The adult moths fly frequently around the food plant by day and later come to light.
