1 specimen at Oorderen, Antwerpen Noord (AN), 2007-05-30, leg. W. Van Ginhoven. Since the species was found in a large train formation station, this species likely traveled by train.

The larvae feed on old, dead parts of plants, mosses, lichens, algae and soft and fresh plants.
