A very rare and local species in Belgium. Only known from NA, but not seen for a very long time.

Wingspan c. 11 mm. Forewings brown with slight olive grey hue, slightly paler distally and cilia brownish. Dorsal blotch divided into two small curved white striae. Four pairs of white coastal strigulae. Broad leaden metallic ocellus. Hindwing male white, bordered brownish. Female hindwing brown.
Unknown for now.
The adults are on the wing from late April towards June.
Unknown, but Ulex europaeus and Fabaceaea are mentioned by some sources.
It inhabits in dry, warm, poor grassland habitats,
