This very rare and local species is only known from very old observations in LX. Presumably extinct.
Native
The chrysalis overwinters. The butterflies come to light and rest during the day on lichen-covered stems, the males mainly high up and the females mainly lower on the stem.
On the wing in June/July in one generation a year.
The caterpillars develop on various Fagus and Quercus lichens.
