A very rare species in Belgium, not seen for a while.

Biology still unknown for the time being. The adults come to light.
The adults are on the wing from late April towards June.
Unknown for now. Believed to be feed on Betula, Corylus and Alnus, but this is very questionable that the species lives on the trees mentioned, because almost all other Epiblema species live as caterpillars exclusively on perennials and herbs (especially Asteraceae).
It inhabits open woodland, rough ground, meadows etc...
