A fairly common species throughout Belgium, most observations from the northwestern and southern part of the country.
This species is considered Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.
Native
The species hibernates as a pupa. The adults come to light.
The adults fly in two or three generations a year from mid-April till mid-September.
