An extremely rare and local species in Belgium, only known from the past in the southermost province LX. After a long period with no observations, discovered again in 2023 in NA.

Wingspan 14 mm.
Two generations a year from the end of May to early June and again in July–August.
The biology is insufficiently known; the larva is supposed to be monophagous on Teucrium botrys.
