Bionomics

Hibernates as pupa among plant debris.
They are active from dawn to dusk and come to light in small numbers.

Flight periods

The adults usually can be seen from early April towards late August in two difficult-to-distinguish generations a year. Rarely earlier or later depending on weather conditions.
