A fairly common species throughout Belgium.
This species is considered Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.
Native
Hibernates as egg on the foodplant.
The moths are attracted to light.
The adults fly from mid-October till late November.
The larva lives on various deciduous trees, but especially on Betula, Quercus or Ulmus.
