A common species throughout Belgium.
This species is considered Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.
Native
Hibernates as pupa in the ground.
They are active from dusk onwards and later come to light.
The adults fly in two or three hard-to-distinguish generations a year from mid-April till late October, occasionally later.
The larva lives on a different species of Cruciferae.
