Distribution


Imago

Wingspan 16–21 mm. Base color white, the basal part of the forewings and the hind half of the hindwings are greyish. There are 2 black discal spots on the forewing, one on the hindwing. The edges of both pairs of wings is wide and black.

Flight periods

The adults are on the wing from June towards August.

In the literature it is stated that the caterpillar lives on Vaccinium, Anemone, Oxalis acetosella and Gaultheria.
