First observation for Belgium was in 2016 in LX, second in 2018 in LG. Hitherto, this very rare and local species is only known from a few records in our country.

Adults rest during daytime on tree trunks. They fly at dawn and dusk and come sparsely to light.
One generation a year with adults flying from May till July.
Xerothermic places with dead wood present, forest margins, open places in forests, both deciduous and mixed forests.
