This species is extinct in Belgium. Last observation in 1921 in the Gaume region.
Native
A large Pyrgus with the underside of the wings strongly marked in white. The gray-yellow underside of the hindwings is characterized by a broad white border with some dark spots.
The adults fly in one generation a year onwards from late June towards September.
The larva lives on different species of Potentilla.
