A very rare and local species in the south of Belgium.
Native
First observation for Belgium on 31.vii.1951 at Jemelle.
Adults are active in the sunshine.
The adults fly in one generation a year from late April towards August.
The larvae lives on Inula conyzae and on Inula hirta.
