Imago

Wingspan 18–21 mm. It has a strongly reticulate forewing pattern, an oblique distal margin to the basal fascia. Sometimes the median fascia is less solid and the pre-apical spot poorly developed.

Bionomics

The larva lives between spun leaves or in a longitudinally folded leaf and hibernates. The adults come to light.
