A local and very rare species in Belgium, known from the southern and eastern parts of the country.

The larva feeds on the leaves of the food plant.
The adults come to light.
One long generation a year from early May till mid-September.
Monophagous. The larva feeds on the leaves of Onobrychis viciifolia. It has also been recorded on Anthyllis vulneraria.
Forests in xerothermic areas, especially on limestone.
