This species is considered Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List category for Flanders 2023.
Native
Hibernates as a small larva.
The adults come to light and sugar.
The adults fly from June till late August in one generation a year.
Sometimes a partial second generation occurs till October.
The larva lives in the stem of Phragmites or Phalaris.
