First observation for Belgium in OV in 2021, which was clearly an imported specimen. However, in 2023, the species also seems to have reached our country as a migrant, just like in our neighboring countries.

1) 1 specimen found that fell from a bunch of leeks (Allium ampeloprasum) after shopping on 14.xii.2021 at Kalken (OV), leg. A. Van Hove. (imported specimen)
2) 1 ex. on 22.iv.2023 (indoors) at Meise, VB, on 22.iv.2023, leg. W. Bex. (status pending)
3) 1 larva on Lavandula stoechas, imago emerges on 27.v.2023 at Genk - Oud-Winterslag (LI), leg. J. Verstraeten. (imported specimen)
4) 1 ex. on 23.viii.2023 (light trap) at Houtvenne (AN), leg. K. Arnouts. (migrant)
5) 1 ex. on 24.viii.2023 (light trap) at Begijnendijk (VB), leg. S. Meesen. (migrant)
6) 1 ex. on 10.ix.2023 (light trap) at Tienen (VB), leg D. & W. Hennebel. (migrant)
7) 1 ex. on 10.ix.2023 (light trap) at Welden (OV), leg. D. De Groote. (migrant)
8) 1 ex. on 10.x.2023 (light trap) at Boechout (AN), leg. W. De Roeck. (migrant)

Larvae freely on the leaves.
Belgian specimens have been seen from 22 April towards as late as 14 December.
The larva is broadly polyphagous. The following plants are known Allium ampeloprasum, Brassica, Cachrys libanotis, Carthamus, Cichorium intybus, Cynara, Daucus carota, Glebionis coronaria, Glycine max, Gossypium, Helianthus annuus, Lactuca sativa, Linaria, Linum, Medicago sativa, Nicotiana, Raphanus sativus, Solanum tuberosum, Zea mays etc...
