Native
Wingspan 7–10 mm.
The larva lives in silken tubes among dead and fallen leaves of Cotoneaster and Quercus ilex. In areas without this host plants, they may live on general detritus.
Adults are on the wing from late June till August.
Found on warm rocky cliffs.
