A very rare and local species in Belgium, hitherto known only from one location in NA.
Native
Wingspan 14–17 mm.
Little is known about it yet.
The adults come to light.
The adults are on the wing from late July towards August. Most observations during early August.
The literature mentions quite an unlikely combination of Eryngium campestre, Sanguisorba officinalis and Rosa spinosissima. However, all plants occur where the species is known.
It inhabits calcareous grasslands on rocks.
