Bionomics

The larva lives in the flower-heads of the host plant, spinning them together and causing a brownish stain.
Overwintering and pupation in a cocoon in the dead flowers of the food plant.
The adults are active during sunny days. They come sparsely to light.


Flight periods

The adults fly in one generation a year: from late April towards early June.
