Wingspan 11–15 mm. It has a pale grey to whitish grey forewing with the brown markings very weak and sometimes reduced to a few dark patches or dashes.

Bionomics

The larva lives between spun leaves or in a pod. The adults come to light.

Flight periods

The first generation will appear at the end of April and during May, the second generation in late July and August is less visible.
