A very rare and local species in Belgium, only known from a few localities.
Native
It hibernates as a small larva in a dense white cocoon. Later in spring, it feeds in a loose web between leaves on the host plant.
Adults are the wing from late May to late July.
The larva lives on Sorbus aucuparia.
It prefers small seedling trees standing in the shade or in open woodland.
