Mine

The mine is a gradually widening corridor that usually follows a vein or the leaf margin. The frass lies in a central line that takes up at least 1/3 of the width of the mine.

The species fly in two generations a year.

The larva feeds on different herbaceous Rosaceae like Agrimonia, Filipendula, Fragaria, Sanguisorba and also often it can be found on Potentilla.
